On the eve of Halloween 2008 the Riggs LaSalle Community Center was overflowing with kids in costumes, parents, grandparents, MPD, and Recreation staff.
With more then 100 children the contest for the best store bought and home made costume was hard to choose two winners.
The older kids enjoyed a haunted room while
the younger ones sat and listened to ghost stories
Thanks to Ms. Campbell and Ms. Kingsberry there was plenty of candy for EVERYONE!!!
The staff at the center served hot dogs and chips while MPD handed out the candy.
The Halloween Eve Safe Haven turned out to be such a great success and it was very safe for everyone.
