On Saturday December 8, 2007 the Lamond Community Center, MPDC PSA 402, and the Kids First Basketball Inc hosted a Breakfast with Santa. Approximately 30 children and 10 adults came out on a cold dreary morning to have a memorable breakfast.
Dorothy Goings and Officer Greg Gulledge cooked the feast while Officer Antoine Reed played Santa Clause.
Officer Adriane Wilson, Robert Valentine, and myself (Officer Heather Straker) ran the show. We had gift bags for all the children that were filled with lots of goodies and toys.
No one left hungry or empty handed.
Thanks to everyone that participated and made this event a great success!
